a little too close [collab]

OKAY SO
I know this isn't the kind of thing you'd normally see in my gallery (people? anime? wtf??) but I can explain xD

First of all, this is a COLLAB. An unexpected collab I did with ~xx-SugarPie-xx. :3 I was browsing dA for art of these characters and came across her lovely sketch which I then offered to ink/colour/shade/add effects to etc. etc. and she was more than happy to let me.

This was quite tricky xDD The outfits were REALLY difficult (Cheria girl I fucking love your design and fashion sense but your dress is so goddamn hard to colour xD) and the colouring in general took forever x3 They are slightly off-model but I tried my best haha. I'm not used to such complex designs and details, but I definitely had fun. The sketch was fairly easy to follow, but of course sketches aren't always super easy and clear to work with so I had to make a few adjustments to make it a little easier for me. It's not as pretty or as sparkly as I would've liked, but I think it looks okay haha.

Tales of Graces f is one of my favourite games ever, mainly for its amazing storyline and characters. :3 I can't draw people (especially not anime people) so I'm really happy I got this opportunity to digitalise such an awesome sketch. Especially of my favourite couple ever. xD

As for the picture.. Asbel (the knight) is a bit clueless and dense sometimes, and Cheria's probably nagging him about something (he probably forgot to look after Sophie properly again lol) due to her naturally motherly nature. They're both blushing (especially him because she's RIGHT up in his face) because they're hopelessly in love with each other , but they're way too shy to admit it haha. MAJOR skinny love there. I lav it so much. So much. Amg. <333
